COVID-19 UPDATE

We recognize the trust you place in us as your family’s Dental office.

That’s why we wanted to share an update on the actions we are taking at Aurora Family Dentistry, to keep you, and our team members safe amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

The World Health Organization has declared the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus a pandemic. We in Canada are also being affected by this pandemic.

At Aurora Family Denitstry, we would like all our patients, staff and service providers to adopt safety-first protocols recommended by Health Canada.

The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) has recommended that all non-essential and elective dental services should be suspended immediately. As a consequence, Aurora Family Dentistry Offices will be closed with immediate effect to the general public.

However, RCDSO has also advised that Emergency treatment should continue, and as a result, our phone numbers will continue to be operative during business hours, and any emergency will be seen by the dentist as soon as possible.

In order to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19, everyone has a role to play. It takes more than governments and actions from the health sector to protect the health and safety of Canadians.

Each one of us can help ourselves and be prepared in the event of an emergency by understanding how coronavirus spreads and how to prevent illness.

Please visit the Health Canada website for updates and more information.
