A Beautiful & Healthy Smile

At Aurora Family Dentistry, we believe that everyone deserves a brilliant, healthy and beautiful smile. For someone with crooked or uneven teeth, or stained teeth or bleeding gums, with the right treatment, a beautiful healthy smile can be created by the Dentists at Aurora Family Dentistry. What’s more, getting a beautiful smile is affordable.

Good Oral Habits

A beautiful and healthy smile takes work. It takes good Oral habits in addition to treatment by the Dentist. The significance of the mouth as the gateway to overall health is often underestimated.  The fact is that the health of your gums and teeth has a large impact on your overall health, on your medical bills and even your quality of life.

A Smile is Contagious

We all know that a smile is contagious. If you smile warmly at someone, they would find it difficult not to smile back. But how do you smile, and spread good cheer, when you are embarrassed about your smile.

Sometimes the treatment to get a beautiful smile is simply Teeth whitening. You can do teeth whitening with store bought products too. However, our in-office teeth whitening can help you with even stubborn and deep stains and last a fairly long time.

Eat Right & Exercise

How do you add the wattage to make your smile brighter – eat right and exercise! Even a 20-minute daily session of exercising combined with a diet that has a balance of green leafy vegetables, fruits and protein can begin to show results pretty quickly. The endorphins that your brain releases when you work out can help you feel better, and that will add to the brightness of your smile.

Stain Resistant Porcelain & Composite Resin Fillings

Your old silver fillings can be an embarrassment when you laugh or smile. Ask your Aurora Dentist about replacing your old fillings. We can replace your old fillings with stain-resistant porcelain or other durable composite resin fillings that match with your natural teeth colour.

Your Aurora Dentist can help you repair a chipped tooth, close a gap between your teeth that’s visible when you smile, replace a missing tooth and even out your gum line.

Porcelain Veneers

New technologies available include porcelain veneers. These are a permanent solution and are quick to install. These are also amazingly effective in helping improve your smile.

Orthodontic Treatment for a Better Smile

Orthodontic treatment is another viable solution for crooked or misaligned teeth. You can choose between traditional braces or Invisalign – a system of clear aligner trays. Both these orthodontic options help straighten your teeth with a treatment that can last a lifetime.

At the Aurora Family Dentistry, we offer a variety of treatments for improving your smile. These treatments include Teeth whitening, Orthodontic treatments, Cosmetic dentistry and where needed gum surgery as well.

COVID-19 UPDATE

We recognize the trust you place in us as your family’s Dental office.

That’s why we wanted to share an update on the actions we are taking at Aurora Family Dentistry, to keep you, and our team members safe amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

The World Health Organization has declared the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus a pandemic. We in Canada are also being affected by this pandemic.

At Aurora Family Denitstry, we would like all our patients, staff and service providers to adopt safety-first protocols recommended by Health Canada.

The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) has recommended that all non-essential and elective dental services should be suspended immediately. As a consequence, Aurora Family Dentistry Offices will be closed with immediate effect to the general public.

However, RCDSO has also advised that Emergency treatment should continue, and as a result, our phone numbers will continue to be operative during business hours, and any emergency will be seen by the dentist as soon as possible.

In order to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19, everyone has a role to play. It takes more than governments and actions from the health sector to protect the health and safety of Canadians.

Each one of us can help ourselves and be prepared in the event of an emergency by understanding how coronavirus spreads and how to prevent illness.

Please visit the Health Canada website for updates and more information.
